Jiebei Zhu

Jiebei Zhu is a Full Professor at the School of Electrical and Information Engineering, Tianjin University, China. An IET Fellow and national-level young talent, he serves as Chief Scientist of the National Smart Grid Science and Technology Major Project, and leads the research center for renewable energy integration and power-electronic power systems. His research interests cover power-electronized power systems, renewable grid-forming control, VSC-HVDC transmission, power system stability and DC distribution networks. He has won 10 provincial/ministerial first-class science awards and 4 gold medals at the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions.

Sergio Saponara

Sergio Saponara is a Full Professor of Electronic Engineering and Director of the Department of Information Engineering at the University of Pisa, Italy. An IEEE Senior Member, he has been consistently ranked in the Stanford Top 2% of Scientists Worldwide for six consecutive years (2020–2025). His research interests cover integrated circuit design, edge AI, IoT systems, vehicular electronics, embedded cybersecurity and space electronics, with deep industry collaboration on semiconductor innovation. He has published 448 Scopus-indexed peer-reviewed papers, with an H-index of 45 (Scopus) and over 8200 total citations, and holds more than 10 industrial patents co-developed with partners including STMicroelectronics and Ericsson.

Pei Zhang

Pei Zhang is a Distinguished Talent Professor at the School of Electrical and Information Engineering, Tianjin University, China. An IEEE Fellow and CSEE Fellow, he is included in the Stanford University Top 2% Scientists Worldwide Lifetime Scientific Impact Ranking. His research interests span power system operation and planning, probabilistic risk assessment, renewable energy grid integration, power big data analytics, artificial intelligence for power systems, electricity market design, and stability control of new-type power systems. He has published over 250 peer-reviewed journal and conference papers, authored 3 scholarly monographs, holds more than 30 granted patents and 20 software copyrights, and has led or participated in over 70 key research projects.

Mohammad Kamrul Hasan

Mohammad Kamrul Hasan is an Associate Professor at the Center for Cyber Security, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Malaysia. Ranked 7th among computer science researchers nationwide by Research.com, he received the 2026 Research.com Computer Science Malaysia Leader Award and the International Young Scientist Award. His research interests span IoT and cyber-physical security, smart grid communication networks, vehicular networks, 5G heterogeneous networks, edge computing, lightweight cryptography, and AI-driven network intrusion detection. He has published over 400 peer-reviewed journal and conference papers, with an H-index of 61 and more than 12,000 total citations.

Prof. Baojie He

He is currently leading the Centre for Climate-Resilient and Low-Carbon Cities with the focus on Low-Carbon Urban Planning and Design. Baojie has published more than 200 peer-reviewed papers in high-ranking journals and delivered more than 100 invited talks in reputable conferences/seminars. Baojie has been invited to act as Editor-in-Chief and Associate Editors of several international reputuable journals. Baojie received the received the Most Cited Chinese Researchers Title in 2024 and 2025, Highly Cited Researcher Title (Clarivate) in 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025, the Sustainability Young Investigator Award in 2022, the Green Talents Award (Germany) in 2021, and National Scholarship for Outstanding Study Abroad Students (China) in 2019. Baojie was ranked as one of the Top 2% Scientists by the Mendeley from 2020 onwards.

Mukesh Prasad

Mukesh Prasad is an Associate Professor in the School of Computer Science, Faculty of Engineering and IT at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). He is an IEEE Senior Member. He has made significant contributions to the fields of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, and Natural Language Processing. His research interests also span several emerging areas, including Big Data, Computer Vision, Brain-Computer Interfaces, Evolutionary Computation, and the Internet of Things (IoT). He has authored more than 200 peer-reviewed research papers in leading journals and conferences, including publications in high-impact venues such as IEEE, ACM Transactions, Springer Nature and Elsevier.

Parikshit N. Mahalle

Parikshit N. Mahalle is a Professor, Dean of Research and Development, and Head of the Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Department at Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology, Pune, India. He is an IEEE Senior Member. He holds 15 patents, has more than 200 research publications, and has authored or edited 59 books published by Springer, CRC Press, and Cambridge University Press. He received the Best Faculty Award from Sinhgad Institutes and Cognizant Technology Solutions, alongside the State-Level Meritorious Teacher Award. He has delivered over 200 lectures at national and international forums.
